The comeback of Ana

Runner-up sounds good — gold sounded better. Luis, with 90 points. The last hand decided it: Luis went past Mihai right on the line. In the first of the opening eights, Luis bid 1 and took 5 — and Ana and Mihai went down with them.

First place: Ana, with 95 points. Ana only went in front at the very last hand. Ana was even last after the first of the closing eights, which makes the win all the sweeter.
