Elena comes back from behind

The lead passed from hand to hand, 5 times over — it was anyone's guess.

Elena crossed the finish line first, on 81 points. Elena only went in front at the very last hand. It didn't start well — only 4th after the opening eights — but it clearly didn't end there.

edge led for 16 hands but finished second, 4 points behind. edge got past Mihai at the very last hand. In the third of the closing eights: edge said 0, made 3, and the evening was ruined for Ana.

Mihai completed the podium with 73 points. 3 hands in a row: only Mihai slipped, while the rest said it and did it. The cards were kind to everyone but Mihai. Mihai was ahead of Elena right up to the last hand.
