Denisa never gave up the lead

A game of broken contracts — 36 of them around the table, and scores from 93 all the way down to 70.

Cretu closes out the table, with 70 points. "Last one buys the coffee" — as they say at the table. Cretu was ahead of Pity right up to the last hand. After the two-card hand on the way up, Cretu was 3rd and dreaming of the podium — but the last hands had other plans.

Third, on the podium: Pity, up there with eyes on the top step. Pity got past Cretu at the very last hand.

unf0rgettable finished second, just 3 points short of the win. In the first of the closing eights: unf0rgettable called 1, took 4, and Pity was left out in the cold.

Denisa won with 93 points, by a whisker: just 3 points ahead. In front from the third of the opening eights to the end, and nobody got close enough to worry about. And that despite a slip in the very last hand.
