Mihai comes back from behind

An evening with a bit of everything, except contracts kept: 39 slips at the table and scores from 103 down to 37.

Champion of the evening: Mihai, with 103 points. The rest, see you in the replay. 2 hands in a row: Mihai broke the contract each time while everyone else made theirs.

Elena led for 14 hands but finished second, 13 points behind. At one stretch, 7 good hands in a row.

Lucky rounds out the podium with 89 points. Bronze still counts as a medal. The place above was a single point away.

Ana took last place without any nerves at all, on 37 points. The table was Ana's after the last of the opening eights; the second half had other ideas. In the third of the middle eights, Ana bid 1 and took 4 — and Lucky went down with it.

Well played everyone — and especially Mihai!
