The comeback of Petru

5 changes of leader: this one was a tug of war.

Pity took last place without any nerves at all, on 53 points. 14 broken contracts, collected like stamps.

In 4th place, Mara, on 82 points. In the third of the opening eights, Mara bid 3 and took 6 — and Alice went down with it. 2 hands in a row: Mara broke the contract each time while everyone else made theirs.

Third, on the podium: Alice, up there with eyes on the top step. In the second of the opening eights: Alice said 4, made 7, and the evening was ruined for Pity.

Runner-up sounds good — gold sounded better. Cretu, with 97 points. Cretu was even in front after the last of the opening eights.

First place: Petru, with 101 points. Petru only went in front at the very last hand. It didn't start well — only 4th after the opening eights — but it clearly didn't end there.
