Luis comes back from behind

The lead passed from hand to hand, 4 times over — it was anyone's guess.

2 points. That's all. Luis won in the blink of an eye — so don't blink. It didn't start well — only 4th after the opening eights — but it clearly didn't end there. At one stretch, 11 good hands in a row.

Elena finished second, just 2 points short of the win. 2 hands in a row: the table said and did, Elena said and... hoped. It didn't hold. Elena was even in front after the third of the middle eights.

Mihai completed the podium with 89 points. In the third of the middle eights, Mihai bid 1 and took 4 — and Ana went down with it.

Ana took last place without any nerves at all, on 45 points. In the second of the middle eights: Ana called 1, took 4, and Mihai was left out in the cold. 2 hands in a row: Ana broke the contract each time while everyone else made theirs.
