Emi takes it in the closing rounds

Emi won by a whisker, with just 2 points — at whist even one point is as good as a mile. Emi only went in front at the very last hand. In the last of the middle eights: Emi said 2, scooped 6, and Mihai was left counting the pieces.

Mihai finished second, just 2 points short of the win. The last hand decided it: Mihai went past Ana right on the line. Mihai spent a long time on the red lantern and came out clean — determined not to buy the round.

Ana completed the podium with 82 points. Ana was ahead of Emi right up to the last hand. 10 good hands in a row — at one point, Ana was playing as if they could see everyone else's cards.

Last place: Elena, with 68 points. In the last of the closing eights: Elena said 2, scooped 6, and Ana was left counting the pieces. After the two-card hand on the way up, Elena was 3rd and dreaming of the podium — but the last hands had other plans.
