Elena takes the table

4 players · 12 October 2026

4 players, 24 hands, one winner. Here is how it went.

Elena won at a stroll, with 110 points and 24 clear of the rest.

Vyce took second with 86 points — a fine evening, but the gods of whist were busy elsewhere. Vyce got past Laura at the very last hand. Vyce spent a long time on the red lantern and came out clean — determined not to buy the round.

Third, and on the podium: Laura, with 81 points. Laura was ahead of Vyce right up to the last hand. 2 hands in a row: the table said and did, Laura said and... hoped. It didn't hold.

Last place, with dignity: edge, with 72 points. Somebody had to do it. 2 hands in a row: the whole table kept its word, only edge didn't — but insisted, with dignity. After the five-card hand on the way up, edge was leading the table — but the last hands had other plans.

Well played everyone. Same table next time?
