The lead kept changing — TaNE came out on top

The lead passed from hand to hand, 4 times over — it was anyone's guess.
Gabriel took last place without any nerves at all, on 81 points. In the seven-card hand on the way up: Gabriel said 3, scooped 6, and CATA and Edy were left counting the pieces.
In 5th place, CATA, on 101 points. In the fourth of the opening eights, CATA bid 3 and took 6 — and Edy went down with it.
Edy finishes right in the middle — neither hot nor cold — 4th, with 104 points. Edy was ahead of Teo right up to the last hand. After the fifth of the closing eights, Edy was 2nd and dreaming of the podium — but the last hands had other plans.
GOLE completed the podium with 106 points. The last hand decided it: GOLE went past Edy right on the line.
Teo took second with 108 points — a fine evening, but the gods of whist were busy elsewhere. Teo got past GOLE at the very last hand. Teo was even in front after the six-card hand on the way down.
TaNE won at a stroll, with 130 points and 22 clear of the rest.
Congratulations to all — see you at the next table!
