Elena takes the table

An evening with a bit of everything, except contracts kept: 35 slips at the table and scores from 110 down to 54.

First place: Elena, with 110 points. The rest, see you in the replay. At one stretch, 6 good hands in a row.

Runner-up sounds good — gold sounded better. Mihai, with 102 points. Mihai left the robot at the wheel most of the evening and still came out respectable. Teamwork with the server.

Third, on the podium: Luis, up there with eyes on the top step. Luis said they'd take nothing in the first of the middle eights... and took some. Whist listens, then does the opposite.

Cosmin took last place without any nerves at all, on 54 points. 3 hands in a row: the table said and did, Cosmin said and... hoped. It didn't hold. After the two-card hand on the way up, Cosmin was 3rd and dreaming of the podium — but the last hands had other plans.

Well played everyone. Same table next time?
