Mihai, from start to finish

6 players, 30 hands, one winner. Here is how it went.

First place, no appeal: Mihai, with 126 points. In front from the second of the opening eights to the end, and nobody got close enough to worry about.

Elena finishes second, 8 points short of gold. Silver shines, but not quite the same. Elena left the robot at the wheel most of the evening and still came out respectable. Teamwork with the server.

Ana completed the podium with 108 points. Ana left the robot at the wheel most of the evening and still came out respectable. Teamwork with the server.

Vlad finished 4th with 107 points. The place above was a single point away. After the seven-card hand on the way up, Vlad was 2nd and dreaming of the podium — but the last hands had other plans.

In 5th place, Radu, on 102 points. In the second of the opening eights, Radu bid 2 and took 6 — and Elena went down with it.

Ioana took last place without any nerves at all, on 55 points. 16 broken contracts, collected like stamps.

Well played everyone. Same table next time?
