unf0rgettable comes back from behind

The cards were dealt, and so were the nerves. Here is the story.

1 point. That's all. unf0rgettable won in the blink of an eye — so don't blink. It didn't start well — only 3rd after the opening eights — but it clearly didn't end there. At one stretch, 9 good hands in a row.

Denisa finished second, just 1 point short of the win. The place above was a single point away. Denisa was even in front after the last of the opening eights.

Alice rounds out the podium with 87 points. Bronze still counts as a medal. Alice spent a long time on the red lantern and came out clean — determined not to buy the round.

Neither at the front nor at the back: Pity in 4th, with 78 points. The comfort zone. After the three-card hand on the way up, Pity was 3rd and dreaming of the podium — but the last hands had other plans.

Ionela closes out the table, with 64 points. "Last one buys the coffee" — as they say at the table. 2 hands in a row: only Ionela slipped, while the rest said it and did it. The cards were kind to everyone but Ionela.

Congratulations to all — see you at the next table!
