Ana comes back from behind

An evening with a bit of everything, except contracts kept: 34 slips at the table and scores from 100 down to 75.

Ana takes the game with 100 points and goes home happy. It didn't start well — only 4th after the opening eights — but it clearly didn't end there. 14 good hands in a row — at one point, Ana was playing as if they could see everyone else's cards.

Second place for Mihai, with 84 points. So close to the top they can still taste it — bittersweet. In the last of the closing eights, Mihai bid 1 and took 4 — and Kiki went down with it. Mihai was even in front after the second of the closing eights.

Third, and on the podium: Elena, with 79 points. Elena got past Kiki at the very last hand. 2 hands in a row: the table said and did, Elena said and... hoped. It didn't hold.

Kiki closes out the table, with 75 points. "Last one buys the coffee" — as they say at the table. 3 hands in a row: only Kiki slipped, while the rest said it and did it. The cards were kind to everyone but Kiki. Kiki was ahead of Elena right up to the last hand.

Well played everyone. Same table next time?
