Ana takes the table
4 players · 30 October 2026
An evening with a bit of everything, except contracts kept: 36 slips at the table and scores from 104 down to 63.
First place and peace of mind: Ana, with 104 points. And that despite a slip in the very last hand.
Ionela took the runner-up spot with 97 points. Ionela swore 0 in the three-card hand on the way up and took a trick — whist has a sense of humour.
Third, and on the podium: Luis, with 65 points. Luis got past Mihai at the very last hand. 2 hands in a row: the table said and did, Luis said and... hoped. It didn't hold.
The tail of the table: Mihai, with 63 points. Somebody has to hold the candle. Mihai had the table at their feet after the last of the opening eights. Whist was there to remind them nothing lasts forever. In the last of the opening eights: Mihai called 0, took 4, and Ionela was left out in the cold.
Congratulations to all — see you at the next table!
