Radu never gave up the lead

Another evening at the green baize — a bit of everything, just like home.

Cristian Imparat closes out the table, with 89 points. "Last one buys the coffee" — as they say at the table. Cristian was ahead of Elena right up to the last hand. 2 hands in a row: only Cristian slipped, while the rest said it and did it. The cards were kind to everyone but Cristian.

Neither at the front nor at the back: Elena in 5th, with 94 points. The comfort zone. The last hand decided it: Elena went past Cristian Imparat right on the line.

Neither at the front nor at the back: Cosmin in 4th, with 98 points. The comfort zone. Cosmin spent a long time on the red lantern and came out clean — determined not to buy the round.

Bot rounds out the podium with 110 points. Bronze still counts as a medal. Bot left the robot at the wheel most of the evening and still came out respectable. Teamwork with the server.

Ioana finishes second, 11 points short of gold. Silver shines, but not quite the same. Ioana left the robot at the wheel most of the evening and still came out respectable. Teamwork with the server.

Radu comes out on top of everyone, with 135 points. The cards were kind. In front from the fifth of the opening eights to the end, and nobody got close enough to worry about. At one stretch, 8 good hands in a row.

Well played everyone. Same table next time?
