Ana takes the table

Another evening at the green baize, and it had a bit of everything.

First place and peace of mind: Ana, with 130 points.

Second place went to Elena, with 119 points. Elena was even in front after the first of the closing eights. Elena spent a long time on the red lantern and came out clean — determined not to buy the round.

Mihai completed the podium with 108 points. Mihai swore 0 in the second of the opening eights and took a trick — whist has a sense of humour.

Vlad finishes right in the middle — neither hot nor cold — 4th, with 108 points. Level on points with Mihai, and behind only on the tie-break. In the third of the middle eights: Vlad said 0, scooped 4, and Ioana and Radu were left counting the pieces.

In 5th place, Ioana, on 107 points. The last hand decided it: Ioana went past Radu right on the line. In the fourth of the closing eights: Ioana called 1, took 6, and Vlad was left out in the cold.

Radu closed the table from the back, on 99 points — there is always a next game. Radu was ahead of Ioana right up to the last hand.

Congratulations to all — see you at the next table!
