Ana takes the table
4 players · 4 October 2026
An evening with a bit of everything, except contracts kept: 40 slips at the table and scores from 87 down to 72.
Ana won with 87 points, by a whisker: just 3 points ahead. 10 good hands in a row — at one point, Ana was playing as if they could see everyone else's cards.
Kiki finished second, just 3 points short of the win. In the second of the opening eights: Kiki called 3, took 6, and Mihai was left out in the cold.
Mihai rounds out the podium with 75 points. Bronze still counts as a medal. The last hand decided it: Mihai went past Elena right on the line.
Last, but with style: Elena, with 72 points. At least there were cards worth talking about. Started like a champion — top of the table after the last of the opening eights — and finished like a tragedy. Elena was ahead of Mihai right up to the last hand.
Well played everyone. Same table next time?
