The comeback of Mihai

The lead passed from hand to hand, 8 times over — it was anyone's guess.

Luis took last place without any nerves at all, on 75 points. After the three-card hand on the way up, Luis was 3rd and dreaming of the podium — but the last hands had other plans.

Third, and on the podium: Kiki, with 91 points. Level on points with Ionela, and behind only on the tie-break. In the first of the opening eights: Kiki said 0, scooped 3, and Ionela was left counting the pieces.

Ionela finished second, just 3 points short of the win. Ionela got past Kiki at the very last hand. 2 hands in a row: the whole table kept its word, only Ionela didn't — but insisted, with dignity.

3 points. That's all. Mihai won in the blink of an eye — so don't blink.
