Coca never gave up the lead

Another evening at the green baize — a bit of everything, just like home.

The tail of the table: Emi, with 91 points. Somebody has to hold the candle. Emi was ahead of unf0rgettable right up to the last hand.

Neither at the front nor at the back: unf0rgettable in 5th, with 94 points. The comfort zone. The last hand decided it: unf0rgettable went past Emi right on the line. After the five-card hand on the way up, unf0rgettable was 3rd and dreaming of the podium — but the last hands had other plans.

In 4th place, Vlad, on 101 points. In the last of the middle eights, Vlad bid 0 and took 4 — and Sebi went down with it. The place above was a single point away. The second of the closing eights: 2 chairs and 1 kiss flew at Vlad 🪑💋 — the table couldn't decide whether it adored them.

Third, and on the podium: Ana, with 102 points. Level on points with Sebi, and behind only on the tie-break. Ana was ahead of Sebi right up to the last hand.

Sebi took second with 102 points — a fine evening, but the gods of whist were busy elsewhere. The last hand decided it: Sebi went past Ana right on the line. In the third of the middle eights, 2 chairs flew at Sebi within seconds 🪑 — the table had opinions.

Coca won at a stroll, with 135 points and 33 clear of the rest. In the fourth of the closing eights: Coca said 0, made 4, and the evening was ruined for Vlad and unf0rgettable. In front from the third of the opening eights to the end, and nobody got close enough to worry about.

Well played everyone — and especially Coca!
