Daniela comes back from behind

An evening with a bit of everything, except contracts kept: 40 slips at the table and scores from 84 down to 47.

Daniela won the game with 84 points. In the six-card hand on the way up, Daniela bid 1 and took 4 — and Sebi went down with it. 9 good hands in a row — at one point, Daniela was playing as if they could see everyone else's cards.

Olga led for 13 hands but finished second, 9 points behind. Olga said they'd take nothing in the seven-card hand on the way up... and took some. Whist listens, then does the opposite.

Third, on the podium: Sebi, up there with eyes on the top step. 10 behind Olga, 18 ahead of Luis — right in the thick of it.

Luis took last place without any nerves at all, on 47 points. 3 hands in a row: the table said and did, Luis said and... hoped. It didn't hold. After the six-card hand on the way up, Luis was 3rd and dreaming of the podium — but the last hands had other plans.
