Elena comes back from behind

The lead passed from hand to hand, 5 times over — it was anyone's guess.

Elena won at a stroll, with 124 points and 22 clear of the rest. At one stretch, 7 good hands in a row.

Kiki took second with 102 points — a fine evening, but the gods of whist were busy elsewhere. Kiki was even in front after the six-card hand on the way down. Kiki cried laughing 3 times 😂 — a fun evening, at least on one side of the table.

Radu completed the podium with 94 points. 2 hands in a row: only Radu slipped, while the rest said it and did it. The cards were kind to everyone but Radu. Radu was even in front after the last of the opening eights.

Neither at the front nor at the back: Pity in 4th, with 83 points. The comfort zone. In the first of the middle eights: Pity called 1, took 4, and Vlad was left out in the cold. After the three-card hand on the way up, Pity was 2nd and dreaming of the podium — but the last hands had other plans.

Vlad took last place without any nerves at all, on 50 points. In the last of the opening eights: Vlad said 0, made 5, and the evening was ruined for Kiki.

Well played everyone — and especially Elena!
