unf0rgettable comes back from behind

The lead passed from hand to hand, 4 times over — it was anyone's guess.

unf0rgettable gathered 108 points and the hearts of the crowd. Bravo! At one stretch, 7 good hands in a row. And that despite a slip in the very last hand.

Mihai finishes second, 11 points short of gold. Silver shines, but not quite the same. Mihai was even in front after the six-card hand on the way down.

Third, on the podium: Elena, up there with eyes on the top step. One card, a single card, and Elena still got it wrong on the one-card hand. It happens even in the best houses.

Ana took last place without any nerves at all, on 53 points. Ana had the table at their feet after the last of the opening eights. Whist was there to remind them nothing lasts forever. 2 hands in a row: only Ana slipped, while the rest said it and did it. The cards were kind to everyone but Ana.

Congratulations to all — see you at the next table!
