Matei comes back from behind

First place, no appeal: Matei, with 136 points. 7 good hands in a row — at one point, Matei was playing as if they could see everyone else's cards.

Mara led for 11 hands but finished second, 12 points behind. Mara said they'd take nothing in the third of the middle eights... and took some. Whist listens, then does the opposite. In the last of the middle eights the table couldn't make up its mind about Mara: 1 chair and 1 kiss flew in within seconds 🪑💋.

Alice completed the podium with 121 points. Alice was even in front after the six-card hand on the way down. In the second of the opening eights, Alice was showered with 2 kisses in a matter of seconds 💋.

Cristian Imparat finished 4th with 117 points. After the two-card hand on the way up, Cristian was 3rd and dreaming of the podium — but the last hands had other plans.

In 5th place, PaulP, on 108 points. In the fourth of the middle eights: PaulP called 0, took 3, and Coca was left out in the cold. PaulP declared the table on fire 11 times 🔥 — the fire brigade never showed.

Coca took last place without any nerves at all, on 67 points. 15 broken contracts, collected like stamps. In the seven-card hand on the way down, Coca was showered with 2 kisses in a matter of seconds 💋.
