Sebi never gave up the lead

The cards are back in the box. Here is what happened at the table.

George closed the table from the back, on 96 points — there is always a next game. 11 broken contracts, collected like stamps.

Ana finished 5th with 105 points. Ana said they'd take nothing in the third of the opening eights... and took some. Whist listens, then does the opposite.

In 4th place, Mara, on 113 points. Before the last eights, only 4 points off the podium — the pace just didn't hold.

Cosmin completed the podium with 115 points. In the fourth of the closing eights: Cosmin called 0, took 3, and Sebi was left out in the cold.

Ilinca finished second, just 2 points short of the win. Ilinca said they'd take nothing in the second of the opening eights... and took some. Whist listens, then does the opposite.

Sebi won by a whisker, with just 2 points — at whist even one point is as good as a mile. In front from the fourth of the opening eights to the end, and nobody got close enough to worry about. 17 good hands in a row — at one point, Sebi was playing as if they could see everyone else's cards.
