The comeback of Mihai

The cards are back in the box. Here is what happened at the table.

Last place, with dignity: Radu, with 67 points. Somebody had to do it. 3 hands in a row: the whole table kept its word, only Radu didn't — but insisted, with dignity.

In 4th place, Laura, on 81 points. Laura swore 0 in the five-card hand on the way down and took a trick — whist has a sense of humour.

Third, on the podium: Raluca, up there with eyes on the top step. The second of the closing eights: Raluca called 6 with the heart, not the cards. Eyes bigger than the hand.

Elena finished second, just 3 points short of the win. Elena was ahead of Mihai right up to the last hand. Elena was even in front after the fourth of the closing eights.

Mihai won with 115 points, by a whisker: just 3 points ahead. Mihai only went in front at the very last hand. In the first of the opening eights: Mihai said 1, made 5, and the evening was ruined for Radu.

Congratulations to all — see you at the next table!
