Ana comes back from behind

The lead passed from hand to hand, 4 times over — it was anyone's guess.

Ana took the game with 100 points and a 24-point cushion — never really in doubt. In the five-card hand on the way down: Ana called 1, took 4, and Elena and Kiki were left out in the cold. It didn't start well — only 3rd after the opening eights — but it clearly didn't end there.

Kiki led for 9 hands but finished second, 24 points behind. Kiki swore 0 in the four-card hand on the way up and took a trick — whist has a sense of humour.

Mihai completed the podium with 66 points. Mihai was even in front after the three-card hand on the way down.

Last, but with style: Elena, with 56 points. At least there were cards worth talking about. In the first of the middle eights: Elena said 1, made 4, and the evening was ruined for Kiki.
