Ana, from start to finish

The cards were dealt, and so were the nerves. Here is the story.

Ana takes the game with 110 points and goes home happy. In front from the second of the opening eights to the end, and nobody got close enough to worry about. And that despite a slip in the very last hand.

Pity finishes second, 10 points short of gold. Silver shines, but not quite the same. 7 good hands in a row — at one point, Pity was playing as if they could see everyone else's cards.

Mihai rounds out the podium with 85 points. Bronze still counts as a medal. One card, a single card, and Mihai still got it wrong on the one-card hand. It happens even in the best houses.

Elena took last place without any nerves at all, on 61 points. In the second of the opening eights: Elena said 2, scooped 5, and Mihai was left counting the pieces. 2 hands in a row: the whole table kept its word, only Elena didn't — but insisted, with dignity.
