Ana, from start to finish

An evening with a bit of everything, except contracts kept: 39 slips at the table and scores from 92 down to 60.

First place and peace of mind: Ana, with 92 points. In front from the first of the opening eights to the end, and nobody got close enough to worry about. 2 hands in a row: Ana broke the contract each time while everyone else made theirs.

Second place for Mihai, with 84 points. So close to the top they can still taste it — bittersweet. 7 good hands in a row — at one point, Mihai was playing as if they could see everyone else's cards.

Ionela rounds out the podium with 65 points. Bronze still counts as a medal. In the last of the middle eights: Ionela called 0, took 3, and Luis and Mihai were left out in the cold.

Last place: Luis, with 60 points. 2 hands in a row: the whole table kept its word, only Luis didn't — but insisted, with dignity.

Well played everyone — and especially Ana!
