Kiki comes back from behind

The lead passed from hand to hand, 5 times over — it was anyone's guess.
Kiki took the game with 98 points and a 23-point cushion — never really in doubt. In the seven-card hand on the way down, Kiki bid 1 and took 4 — and Elena went down with it. And that despite a slip in the very last hand.
Ana took second with 75 points — a fine evening, but the gods of whist were busy elsewhere. In the four-card hand on the way up: Ana called 1, took 4, and Kiki and Mihai were left out in the cold. 3 hands in a row: Ana broke the contract each time while everyone else made theirs.
Third, and on the podium: Elena, with 72 points. 3 hands in a row: the table said and did, Elena said and... hoped. It didn't hold.
Mihai closes out the table, with 62 points. "Last one buys the coffee" — as they say at the table. The table was Mihai's after the seven-card hand on the way down; the second half had other ideas.
Well played everyone. Same table next time?
