The comeback of Edy

4 changes of leader: this one was a tug of war.
Last place: TaNE, with 87 points. In the second of the opening eights: TaNE said 0, scooped 3, and CATA was left counting the pieces.
Padre finished 5th with 91 points. 2 hands in a row: the table said and did, Padre said and... hoped. It didn't hold.
Neither at the front nor at the back: CATA in 4th, with 110 points. The comfort zone. In the third of the opening eights: CATA called 1, took 4, and Padre was left out in the cold. 2 hands in a row: only CATA slipped, while the rest said it and did it. The cards were kind to everyone but CATA.
Third, on the podium: Gabriel, up there with eyes on the top step. Gabriel was ahead of Teo right up to the last hand. 2 hands in a row: the whole table kept its word, only Gabriel didn't — but insisted, with dignity.
Teo finished second, just 1 point short of the win. Teo got past Gabriel at the very last hand. The place above was a single point away.
1 point. That's all. Edy won in the blink of an eye — so don't blink. And that despite a slip in the very last hand.
Well played everyone — and especially Edy!
