Daniela wins the evening

A game of broken contracts — 37 of them around the table, and scores from 96 all the way down to 68.

Elena closed the table from the back, on 68 points — there is always a next game. Elena had the table at their feet after the last of the opening eights. Whist was there to remind them nothing lasts forever. 2 hands in a row: only Elena slipped, while the rest said it and did it. The cards were kind to everyone but Elena.

Luis completed the podium with 72 points. The second of the middle eights: Luis bid 6, made fewer, and counted the regrets.

Second place went to unf0rgettable, with 79 points. unf0rgettable was even in front after the six-card hand on the way down. 9 good hands in a row — at one point, unf0rgettable was playing as if they could see everyone else's cards.

First place: Daniela, with 96 points. And that despite a slip in the very last hand.

Well played everyone. Same table next time?
