The comeback of Luis

A game of broken contracts — 39 of them around the table, and scores from 92 all the way down to 65.

Last, but with style: Gigel, with 65 points. At least there were cards worth talking about. In the first of the closing eights: Gigel said 2, scooped 6, and Elena and Mihai were left counting the pieces. Before the last eights, only 1 points off the podium — the pace just didn't hold.

Third, and on the podium: Mihai, with 72 points. Mihai left the robot at the wheel most of the evening and still came out respectable. Teamwork with the server.

Elena finishes second, 9 points short of gold. Silver shines, but not quite the same. 2 hands in a row: only Elena slipped, while the rest said it and did it. The cards were kind to everyone but Elena.

First place and peace of mind: Luis, with 92 points. It didn't start well — only 4th after the opening eights — but it clearly didn't end there. 2 hands in a row: only Luis slipped, while the rest said it and did it. The cards were kind to everyone but Luis.

Well played everyone. Same table next time?
