Scorpio04 comes back from behind

The lead passed from hand to hand, 11 times over — it was anyone's guess.

First place: Scorpio04, with 103 points. The rest, see you in the replay. Scorpio04 only went in front at the very last hand. Scorpio04 was even last after the six-card hand on the way down, which makes the win all the sweeter.

Mihai finishes second, 4 points short of gold. Silver shines, but not quite the same. Mihai was ahead of Scorpio04 right up to the last hand. 2 hands in a row: Mihai broke the contract each time while everyone else made theirs.

Third, on the podium: Elena, up there with eyes on the top step. Elena was even in front after the five-card hand on the way down.

Ana took last place without any nerves at all, on 72 points. Ana had the table at their feet after the last of the opening eights. Whist was there to remind them nothing lasts forever. 2 hands in a row: only Ana slipped, while the rest said it and did it. The cards were kind to everyone but Ana.

Congratulations to all — see you at the next table!
