Mihai finishes on 113 points, 28 above the next — the rest were playing a different game, it seems. 8 good hands in a row — at one point, Mihai was playing as if they could see everyone else's cards.

Luis took second with 85 points — a fine evening, but the gods of whist were busy elsewhere. Luis got past Ana at the very last hand.

Ana rounds out the podium with 84 points. Bronze still counts as a medal. Ana was ahead of Luis right up to the last hand. 2 hands in a row: Ana broke the contract each time while everyone else made theirs.

Elena took last place without any nerves at all, on 65 points. Before the last eights, only 4 points off the podium — the pace just didn't hold.
