Padre takes the table
6 players · 28 October 2026
6 players, 30 hands, one winner. Here is how it went.
First place and peace of mind: Padre, with 133 points. Going into the last hand the lead was already 26 — that one was a lap of honour. And that despite a slip in the very last hand.
TaNE finishes second, 18 points short of gold. Silver shines, but not quite the same. 2 hands in a row: only TaNE slipped, while the rest said it and did it. The cards were kind to everyone but TaNE.
Edy rounds out the podium with 109 points. Bronze still counts as a medal. The last hand decided it: Edy went past CATA right on the line.
CATA finished 4th with 107 points. CATA was ahead of Edy right up to the last hand. After the two-card hand on the way up, CATA was 2nd and dreaming of the podium — but the last hands had other plans.
GOLE finishes right in the middle — neither hot nor cold — 5th, with 82 points. In the last of the opening eights: GOLE said 0, scooped 4, and Padre and TaNE were left counting the pieces.
Gabriel closes out the table, with 73 points. "Last one buys the coffee" — as they say at the table. In the second of the closing eights, Gabriel bid 1 and took 4 — and GOLE went down with it. 2 hands in a row: only Gabriel slipped, while the rest said it and did it. The cards were kind to everyone but Gabriel.
Well played everyone. Same table next time?
