Radu comes back from behind

The lead changed hands 4 times — nobody got comfortable at the top.

Radu won the game with 151 points. It didn't start well — only 5th after the opening eights — but it clearly didn't end there. 17 good hands in a row — at one point, Radu was playing as if they could see everyone else's cards.

Second place for Catalin, with 143 points. So close to the top they can still taste it — bittersweet. Catalin was even in front after the last of the opening eights.

Adrian Gh completed the podium with 126 points. Adrian swore 0 in the fifth of the opening eights and took a trick — whist has a sense of humour.

Elena finished 4th with 123 points. In the fifth of the closing eights: Elena said 1, scooped 4, and Cozo and Roua were left counting the pieces. After the two-card hand on the way up, Elena was 2nd and dreaming of the podium — but the last hands had other plans.

Roua finishes right in the middle — neither hot nor cold — 5th, with 116 points. Roua said they'd take nothing in the four-card hand on the way up... and took some. Whist listens, then does the opposite.

Cozo took last place without any nerves at all, on 93 points. In the last of the middle eights: Cozo said 3, scooped 6, and Roua was left counting the pieces. 2 hands in a row: the whole table kept its word, only Cozo didn't — but insisted, with dignity.

Congratulations to all — see you at the next table!
