The comeback of unf0rgettable

The lead changed hands 9 times — nobody got comfortable at the top.

Cretu closed the table from the back, on 67 points — there is always a next game. After the two-card hand on the way up, Cretu was 2nd and dreaming of the podium — but the last hands had other plans.

Vyce rounds out the podium with 69 points. Bronze still counts as a medal. In the last of the middle eights, Vyce bid 4 and took 7 — and unf0rgettable went down with it. Vyce was ahead of Alice right up to the last hand.

Alice led for 9 hands but finished second, 4 points behind. Alice got past Vyce at the very last hand.

Champion of the evening: unf0rgettable, with 77 points. The rest, see you in the replay. It didn't start well — only 4th after the opening eights — but it clearly didn't end there. 2 hands in a row: only unf0rgettable slipped, while the rest said it and did it. The cards were kind to everyone but unf0rgettable.

Well played everyone. Same table next time?
