Sebi comes back from behind

The cards went out, and so did the egos. Here is what came of it.

Sebi won at a stroll, with 136 points and 34 clear of the rest. It didn't start well — only 3rd after the opening eights — but it clearly didn't end there. At one stretch, 13 good hands in a row.

Elena took second with 102 points — a fine evening, but the gods of whist were busy elsewhere. Elena left the robot at the wheel most of the evening and still came out respectable. Teamwork with the server.

Mihai completed the podium with 100 points. Mihai left the robot at the wheel most of the evening and still came out respectable. Teamwork with the server.

In 4th place, Ana, on 95 points. After the two-card hand on the way up, Ana was 3rd and dreaming of the podium — but the last hands had other plans.

Radu took last place without any nerves at all, on 63 points. In the fourth of the closing eights: Radu called 0, took 3, and Mihai was left out in the cold. 2 hands in a row: Radu broke the contract each time while everyone else made theirs.

Well played everyone. Same table next time?
