Roua closed the table from the back, on 78 points — there is always a next game. 13 broken contracts, collected like stamps. Roua cried laughing 5 times 😂 — a fun evening, at least on one side of the table.

Neither at the front nor at the back: GIBO in 5th, with 92 points. The comfort zone. GIBO swore 0 in the fourth of the opening eights and took a trick — whist has a sense of humour.

Adrian Gh finishes right in the middle — neither hot nor cold — 4th, with 104 points. After the first of the closing eights, Adrian was 3rd and dreaming of the podium — but the last hands had other plans. The last of the closing eights: 2 chairs thrown at Adrian in seconds 🪑 — the table spoke its mind, furnished and all.

Third, on the podium: Daniela, up there with eyes on the top step. Daniela said they'd take nothing in the first of the middle eights... and took some. Whist listens, then does the opposite.

Catalin finished second, just 2 points short of the win. In the second of the middle eights: Catalin said 1, made 4, and the evening was ruined for Roua. At one stretch, 8 good hands in a row.

edge won with 116 points, by a whisker: just 2 points ahead. In the fifth of the closing eights, edge bid 1 and took 6 — and Adrian Gh and Roua went down with them. And that despite a slip in the very last hand.
