Mihai comes back from behind

Another evening at the green baize, and it had a bit of everything.

Champion of the evening: Mihai, with 113 points. The rest, see you in the replay. It didn't start well — only 3rd after the opening eights — but it clearly didn't end there. Going into the last hand the lead was already 23 — that one was a lap of honour.

Runner-up sounds good — gold sounded better. Daniela, with 99 points. In the first of the opening eights: Daniela called 0, took 3, and Elena and Radu were left out in the cold.

Radu rounds out the podium with 92 points. Bronze still counts as a medal. One card, a single card, and Radu still got it wrong on the one-card hand. It happens even in the best houses.

unf0rgettable finishes right in the middle — neither hot nor cold — 4th, with 78 points. In the third of the opening eights: unf0rgettable said 4, made 8, and the evening was ruined for Elena. unf0rgettable was even in front after the last of the opening eights.

Last place: Elena, with 69 points. Before the last eights, only 5 points off the podium — the pace just didn't hold.

Congratulations to all — see you at the next table!
