Elena, from start to finish

Another evening at the green baize, and it had a bit of everything.

Elena gathered 112 points and the hearts of the crowd. Bravo! In front from the last of the opening eights to the end, and nobody got close enough to worry about. At one stretch, 8 good hands in a row.

Second place for Alina, with 100 points. So close to the top they can still taste it — bittersweet.

Mihai completed the podium with 79 points. The last hand decided it: Mihai went past Ana right on the line. 2 hands in a row: only Mihai slipped, while the rest said it and did it. The cards were kind to everyone but Mihai.

Ana closes out the table, with 78 points. "Last one buys the coffee" — as they say at the table. Ana was ahead of Mihai right up to the last hand. 2 hands in a row: Ana broke the contract each time while everyone else made theirs.

Well played everyone. Same table next time?
