Ioana, from start to finish

The cards went out, and so did the egos. Here is what came of it.

Champion of the evening: Ioana, with 133 points. The rest, see you in the replay. In front from the second of the opening eights to the end, and nobody got close enough to worry about.

Runner-up sounds good — gold sounded better. Sebi, with 127 points. The fifth of the middle eights: Sebi called 6 with the heart, not the cards. Eyes bigger than the hand.

Radu rounds out the podium with 118 points. Bronze still counts as a medal. In the third of the opening eights: Radu called 1, took 5, and Sebi was left out in the cold.

In 4th place, Daniela, on 110 points. The last hand decided it: Daniela went past Emi right on the line. 2 hands in a row: Daniela broke the contract each time while everyone else made theirs.

Emi finishes right in the middle — neither hot nor cold — 5th, with 102 points. In the first of the opening eights: Emi said 0, made 4, and the evening was ruined for Daniela and Sebi. Emi was ahead of Daniela right up to the last hand.

Bot took last place without any nerves at all, on 77 points. 2 hands in a row: the table said and did, Bot said and... hoped. It didn't hold.

Well played everyone — and especially Ioana!
