Ioana never gave up the lead

6 players, 30 hands, one winner and a pile of excuses. Let's see how it went.

Ionela took last place without any nerves at all, on 82 points. 3 hands in a row: the table said and did, Ionela said and... hoped. It didn't hold.

In 5th place, Roua, on 102 points. Roua swore 0 in the two-card hand on the way down and took a trick — whist has a sense of humour.

In 4th place, Elena, on 116 points. Elena was ahead of Mihai right up to the last hand. After the two-card hand on the way up, Elena was 3rd and dreaming of the podium — but the last hands had other plans.

Third, and on the podium: Mihai, with 122 points. Mihai got past Elena at the very last hand.

Radu took second with 129 points — a fine evening, but the gods of whist were busy elsewhere. Radu left the robot at the wheel most of the evening and still came out respectable. Teamwork with the server.

Ioana wins by 36 clear. That's not whist any more, it's a parade with a brass band. In front from the first of the opening eights to the end, and nobody got close enough to worry about. At one stretch, 16 good hands in a row.
