CCC comes back from behind

The lead changed hands 5 times — nobody got comfortable at the top.

CCC crossed the finish line first, on 128 points.

Daniela took the runner-up spot with 124 points. Daniela was even in front after the seven-card hand on the way down.

Catalin completed the podium with 109 points. In the fourth of the closing eights, Catalin bid 3 and took 6 — and Laura went down with it.

Elena finished 4th with 106 points. After the four-card hand on the way up, Elena was 3rd and dreaming of the podium — but the last hands had other plans.

Claudiu finished 5th with 104 points. At one stretch, 13 good hands in a row.

Last place: Laura, with 96 points. In the third of the opening eights: Laura said 0, made 3, and the evening was ruined for Claudiu. After the two-card hand on the way up, Laura was 3rd and dreaming of the podium — but the last hands had other plans.

Congratulations to all — see you at the next table!
