Elena takes the table

An evening with a bit of everything, except contracts kept: 35 slips at the table and scores from 109 down to 62.

Elena gathered 109 points and the hearts of the crowd. Bravo! At one stretch, 8 good hands in a row.

Runner-up sounds good — gold sounded better. Ana, with 99 points. Ana left the robot at the wheel most of the evening and still came out respectable. Teamwork with the server.

Mihai rounds out the podium with 67 points. Bronze still counts as a medal. The last hand decided it: Mihai went past Sebi right on the line.

Last, but with style: Sebi, with 62 points. At least there were cards worth talking about. Sebi was ahead of Mihai right up to the last hand. After the two-card hand on the way up, Sebi was 3rd and dreaming of the podium — but the last hands had other plans.

Congratulations to all — see you at the next table!
