Another evening at the green baize — a bit of everything, just like home.

Elena took last place without any nerves at all, on 66 points. In the four-card hand on the way down, Elena bid 1 and took 4 — and Ana went down with it. 2 hands in a row: Elena broke the contract each time while everyone else made theirs.

Alina rounds out the podium with 90 points. Bronze still counts as a medal. Alina was ahead of Ana right up to the last hand.

Ana took second with 94 points — a fine evening, but the gods of whist were busy elsewhere. Ana got past Alina at the very last hand.

Mihai wins by 30 clear. That's not whist any more, it's a parade with a brass band. It didn't start well — only 3rd after the opening eights — but it clearly didn't end there. At one stretch, 13 good hands in a row.
