unf0rgettable, from start to finish

Another evening at the green baize, and it had a bit of everything.

unf0rgettable wins by 27 clear. That's not whist any more, it's a parade with a brass band. In the last of the closing eights: unf0rgettable said 4, made 7, and the evening was ruined for Mihai. In front from the first of the opening eights to the end, and nobody got close enough to worry about.

Mihai took second with 92 points — a fine evening, but the gods of whist were busy elsewhere. On the one-card hand, Mihai laid down a card and a fistful of luck. It held.

Third, and on the podium: Elena, with 82 points. In the first of the opening eights: Elena said 3, made 6, and the evening was ruined for Mihai and Vyce. 3 hands in a row: the table said and did, Elena said and... hoped. It didn't hold.

Vyce took last place without any nerves at all, on 46 points. 3 hands in a row: the table said and did, Vyce said and... hoped. It didn't hold.
