CCC comes back from behind

The lead passed from hand to hand, 10 times over — it was anyone's guess.

First place: CCC, with 122 points. At one stretch, 10 good hands in a row.

Runner-up sounds good — gold sounded better. Gigel, with 104 points. Gigel swore 0 in the fifth of the opening eights and took a trick — whist has a sense of humour.

Mihai rounds out the podium with 97 points. Bronze still counts as a medal. In the second of the middle eights: Mihai called 0, took 3, and GIBO was left out in the cold.

Laura finishes right in the middle — neither hot nor cold — 4th, with 92 points. In the last of the closing eights: Laura said 1, made 4, and the evening was ruined for Gigel and Mihai. After the five-card hand on the way up, Laura was leading the table — but the last hands had other plans.

Neither at the front nor at the back: Catalin in 5th, with 88 points. The comfort zone. Before the last eights, only 8 points off the podium — the pace just didn't hold. In the third of the middle eights, 2 chairs flew at Catalin within seconds 🪑 — the table had opinions.

Last place: GIBO, with 78 points. 13 broken contracts, collected like stamps. In the four-card hand on the way down the table couldn't make up its mind about GIBO: 2 chairs and 1 kiss flew in within seconds 🪑💋.
