Scorpio04 never gave up the lead

A game of broken contracts — 36 of them around the table, and scores from 116 all the way down to 70.

Last place, with dignity: Mihai, with 70 points. Somebody had to do it. In the second of the opening eights: Mihai said 2, scooped 5, and Luis was left counting the pieces. After the four-card hand on the way up, Mihai was 2nd and dreaming of the podium — but the last hands had other plans.

Luis completed the podium with 78 points. Luis was ahead of Ana right up to the last hand. 2 hands in a row: only Luis slipped, while the rest said it and did it. The cards were kind to everyone but Luis. Luis cried laughing 6 times 😂 — a fun evening, at least on one side of the table.

Ana took second with 79 points — a fine evening, but the gods of whist were busy elsewhere. Ana got past Luis at the very last hand.

Scorpio04 took the game with 116 points and a 37-point cushion — never really in doubt. In front from the first of the opening eights to the end, and nobody got close enough to worry about. 2 hands in a row: only Scorpio04 slipped, while the rest said it and did it. The cards were kind to everyone but Scorpio04.

Well played everyone — and especially Scorpio04!
