Elena took second with 84 points — a fine evening, but the gods of whist were busy elsewhere. 2 hands in a row: only Elena slipped, while the rest said it and did it. The cards were kind to everyone but Elena. Elena was even in front after the last of the opening eights.

Sebi took the game with 118 points and a 34-point cushion — never really in doubt. It didn't start well — only 3rd after the opening eights — but it clearly didn't end there. 11 good hands in a row — at one point, Sebi was playing as if they could see everyone else's cards.
